If you're producing low levels of hormones for ovulation, or if you're not ovulating at all, Ovulation Induction (OI) may be recommended before trying more advanced treatments such as IVF.
During Ovulation Induction, you'll take a course of medication (such as tablets or injections) to stimulate your hormones. This helps your eggs to form and develop, and can significantly increase your chance of conceiving naturally, or through intrauterine insemination (IUI).
Typically, you will be prescribed an oral medicine, and you may also have a series of injections. We time your medication to match your menstrual cycle mimicking as natural a cycle as possible.
